Capitaline Announces Key Leadership Promotions: Chad Haselhorst Named President, David Bierman Appointed Vice President

Brookings, SD —  January 12, 2026 — CAPITALINE ADVISORS, LLC, a leading Midwestern private equity firm serving individual and institutional investors, is proud to announce the promotion of Chad Haselhorst to President and David Bierman to Vice President. These strategic leadership appointments underscore Capitaline’s commitment to delivering visionary and focused investment opportunities in farmland, agribusiness, renewable energy, and mitigation banking.

Chad Haselhorst, who has been instrumental in driving Capitaline’s growth and operational excellence, will now oversee the firm’s strategic direction and execution as President. Chad has served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager which conducts the financial analysis and modeling for potential investments and monitors investments in current portfolios. He is active in the oversight of a number of Capitaline’s portfolio companies and has constructed comprehensive financial models for analyzing ethanol, biodiesel and wind power companies as well as farmland values throughout the Corn Belt. At Capitaline’s Brookings office, Chad provides investor relations services and currently sits on the board of Minnesota Soybean Processors representing the firm’s investment interests in this company. Chad graduated from South Dakota State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics and a minor in Ag Marketing.  He began his career with Capitaline as a college intern in 2004.

David Bierman, newly appointed Vice President, brings a wealth of experience and insight to his expanded role. David has served as Capitaline’s Financial Analyst from 2010-2012 and Farmland Manager since 2012. He is involved in evaluation, financial modeling, forecasting and budgeting for Capitaline’s farmland portfolios and also performs in-house accounting. He also manages the relationships and leases with the tenant farmers for Capitaline’s farmland portfolios. David holds Bachelor Degrees in Agriculture Economics and Agriculture Business from South Dakota State University.
