Capitaline builds and manages portfolios of land in Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) for individual and institutional investors.  Within an SMA, we can target location, crop types and cap rates, to meet specific investor goals.

We also work with investors to manage their SMA land holdings to achieve recreational or conversation goals they may have. This may include implementing management practices to improve soil health, protect water resources, or enhance wildlife habitat.

Farms and ranches held in SMAs can be owned in generic names, or under a “Custom Brand” that is reflective of the families’ identity and values.

An example of a Custom Branded farm we manage is BlackFork Farms.

The minimum capital commitment for an SMA is five million dollars.
